Harvestar, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Harvestar”, “us” or “we”), cares deeply about your privacy, so we are providing this Privacy Policy to communicate our policies with respect to your information when you use our website located at www.harvestar.co (the “Platform”) or any service made available through our Platform (the “Services”). INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

 

Information You Give Us. We refer to information that can personally identify you, such as your name, address and email address as “Personal Information”. While you may browse the Platform without providing Personal Information, when you use the Services, you may be required to provide certain Personal Information to allow Harvestar to provide the Services (including when you register for an account). We may use your Personal Information to provide the Services to you (including contacting you regarding billing and surveys) and to contact you about our Services or information that may interest you, and to provide you with information you have requested (such as if you contact us about the Services we provide, or if you request a Result). Usage Information.  We collect non-personal statistical information that does not personally identify you. This includes non-personal statistical information about your internet connection, the equipment that you use to access the Platform or our Services, and how you use our Services (including the types of Results you request).  We refer to this information as “Usage Information”. This information allows us to optimize the Services to the internet connections and equipment that are used to visit the Platform. We collect Usage Information directly from you when you provide it to us and automatically as you navigate through the Platform and interact with our Services. ●        Device Identifiers:  When you use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access our Platform, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers”. Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. ●        Tracking URLs:  These are links that allow Harvestar to determine the effectiveness of a particular part of the Platform. For instance, emails from a marketing campaign may include tracking URLs to help Harvestar see how popular the webpage is. This helps us serve more relevant content and information. ][1]

 

Third-party Service Providers

 

We may use vendors or other third-parties in order to efficiently provide the Platform and our Services to you (“Service Providers”). Service Providers may include, but are not limited to, those providing credit card processing. California Civil Code Section §1798.83 permits users of our Platform that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
